Alcohol & Weight Loss

Weight loss is hard as is, nevermind the effects of Alcohol.

So suppose you are hitting your macros dead on during the week and workouts are spot on but come Saturday and Sunday you are drinking bottles after bottles.

Now we know we allowed a specific amount of calories for our individual bodies but we, not 100% sure about the alcohol.

So besides the scientific effects of alcohol one can look at the three obvious ones which are:

- We consuming our calories through the liquid and not wholesome food

- We end up making bad decisions regarding food

- We reward ourselves the next day with pizza

There you have backtracked your week's success, so what can you do?

Simple,

1) Be aware of how much you are drinking, try limit and or drink water in-between to trick your mind.- log the alcohol to make sure you still within your calorie range.

2) Eat something a bit before you feel like having a drink

3) The next day, eat something healthy instead of carb-loading foods.
